    Good morning Charles,

    As you can see in my lessons, I never need to enter in a Destination Link or Source Link.

    The reason is, none of my messages go through a “gateway” or “bridge” of any type.

    That said, if I wanted to MSG through a gateway, like from a PLC-5 on DH+ to an 1769-L35E through a ControlLogix gateway, then I would need to enter the correct values for the message to be routed through the gateway's “source” link to the “destination” address on the remote network.
