    Good morning Maitrey,

    The Preset Value of 1 Million that I chose for my counter was specific to my scenario / application, and would be different for each application and use in the field.

    With a Counter Instruction (like the CTU), the Preset Value (PV or PRE) is the value that would result in the output coming on (Q or DN) when the instruction's count (CV or ACC) reaches the Preset Value.

    But Counters can continue to count past the assigned Preset.
