I am unable to get 100% completion for this course. I have done every available lesson with an 80/83. There are 3 lessons with a future date of September 9, 9999 @ 9:09 am…. As I will probably not be alive by then would I be able to to get my certificate now?
As of 06-18-23: This course is nearing completion and the certificate should be available in mid July. If you need a certificate prior to that time, please email me at Support @ TheAutomationSchool.com.

We only just enabled the 1.25, 1.5x and 2x video speed options for a student who wished to watch optional and bonus lessons at a faster speed. As a side benefit, it also enabled the slower speeds, good for those who English is a second language, and the slower speed also helps when reading the closed captions.
That said, we knew going in that there’s no synchronization between the lesson timers and video speeds, since the lesson timers are tied into the Professional Development Hours awarded with each course.
So our recommendation is to not watch required lessons at a speed faster than 1x, since our current system is not able to award a variable number of PDHs based on the speed each student chooses to watch required lessons.
That said, you can absolutely watch any lesson at any speed, however the lesson timers will not change.

If I watch the video at 2x speed, it doesn’t update the time remaining to click the “Mark Complete” button.
