Proudly Serving Thousands of Individuals and Companies in Fifty-five Countries:

Become a master at solving SLC-500 and MicroLogix applications without having to buy thousands of dollars of equipment and software by taking our NEW Mastering SLC & MLX Applications using PLCLogix 500 simulation software.

Those who want to become proficient programming control systems using A-B PLCs often find themselves trying to simulate complex operations with lights and switches, since building application test systems can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

But with our Mastering Logix Applications course and a copy of PLCLogix 500, students have everything they need to learn how to solve several fully simulated applications.

PLCLogix 500 is a unique software tool that not only simulates the workings of RSLogix 500 / Micro, but also includes a fully simulated SLC-500 Controller with several Digital and Analog IO modules, as well as an IO Simulator and Ten Fully Simulated Applications.

That means students of our Mastering SLC & MLX Applications with PLCLogix 500 don't need to buy a copy of RSLogix (starting at $810/year for 500 Starter) an A-B PLC, and various input, output and panel devices.

Instead, students can choose between buying our Mastering Logix Applications course and using the Free Trial Version of PLCLogix 500 for a 15 day period, or pickup a Lifetime License of PLCLogix 500 from The Automation School for just $294.99. And when you purchase a PLCLogix 500 license from us you also get our Mastering Logix Applications course for it completely free!

Because we value your time, each application lesson also comes with a “Tag Start File” so if you wish to jump right into programming you'll be able to do so while still using the same tag definitions as our instructor.

NOTE: If you purchase the bundle with the course and software license, an activation instruction email will be sent to you within four working days of placing your order. To activate your license you need to install the 15 Day Trail software (link to download included with your receipt) on the PC you will be activating your license on. Also note that the 15 Day Trial has the same features as the Full License, but will only run for 15 days from the time of installation, unless activated.

NOTE: If purchasing more than a Single License (any quantity over 1) you must provide us with the names and email addresses of the additional students for us to be able to process your order, or purchase each employee a course or license voucher.

This section covers the license agreement and permitted use of our online courses and course bundles, which also includes any course materials, code snippets, downloads, and provided software, which taken all together will henceforth be referred to collectively as a "course:"

The purchase of a single copy of a course grants a single individual with the right to use the course for personal instruction and reference only. Purchasing a course for yourself (or for another) does not grant you, them, or anyone the right to distribute or share that work beyond the single individual that registers to take the course.

This means the course and course materials may not be shared with friends, relatives, co-workers, students, or anyone else as each sale is for an individual license to access, view, and take the lessons, quizzes, exercises, and download any course materials, documents, code, files, and software that are included with the course.

This per-person licensing helps ensure that the instructor who created the course (and exclusively holds the copyright for it,) can cover the expense outlaid to create the course, as well as cover the continuing costs of keeping the course available to new and existing customers, and additionally cover the expense of answering new questions that paying customers may have, all while providing the instructor (and copyright holder) with fair compensation for access to their copyrighted course and course materials that are licensed on a per-person basis.

Note that it is unlawful to share this copyrighted course and course material *even* if you do not charge for doing so, or do not make a profit doing so - this includes non-profit and governmental organizations - as the nature of this unique, copyrighted, proprietary educational work (for which the instructor holds the sole copyright,) is that it is designed as a chargeable training resource that is not made freely available to the public, and as such its only value is in its controlled distribution.

Therefore, any unauthorized sharing of the course or the course materials would greatly reduce the potential for additional sales and licensing, directly impacting the ability of the instructor and copyright holder to cover their costs to produce the course, as well as to continue to make it available to new and existing customers, and to support customers who lawfully purchased it.

If you have any questions on the above, please contact us using the "contact link" in the site menu.
