New PanelView Plus course in development: Ultimate PVP™

Welcome to my new PanelView Plus Online Course, Ultimate PVP™.

As this course is currently in development, As this course is currently in development, the only way to pre-order it today is to get with the purchase of our Ultimate A-B Course Bundle™.

The reason for this is simple: During the development of my new “Ultimate” courses, I won't necessarily release new lessons in sequential order.

Why? Over the last few years my students have been asking great questions, questions that I wanted to release new lessons on. But not all of those questions are on subjects that would fit into my existing curriculum.

So instead of trying to shoehorn new, unrelated lessons into my existing curriculum, I decided launch my a new series of “Ultimate” courses in which I'll share as much knowledge as possible with students as often as possible, without having to worry about trying to fit every lesson into an existing curriculum.

And as part of this plan, I'm not going to limit myself to releasing lessons in chronological order (from basic to more complex,) but instead I want to have the freedom to jump around subject wise and release new lessons as existing students ask questions in my current courses.

This strategy will sometimes result in new advanced lessons being released before many new basic lessons as published, which is why I think it's important that while my “Ultimate” courses are under development all new students have a chance to go through my current courses which they can later supplement with whatever “Ultimate” lessons are released at that time.

Now at some point in the future I do expect my new “Ultimate” courses will be complete enough to be sold standalone, and at the point they'll be sold to new students separately from my existing courses.

But between now and then ALL existing and new students will get my “Ultimate” courses free of charge when they buy my existing course on the same topic.

Now since this course is a work in progress, please don't hesitate to send me your feedback as well as check back here over the coming months to take the new lessons I add each week.

Sincerely,

Shawn Tierney,
Founder of The Automation School

This section covers the license agreement and permitted use of our online courses and course bundles, which also includes any course materials, code snippets, downloads, and provided software, which taken all together will henceforth be referred to collectively as a "course:"

The purchase of a single copy of a course grants a single individual with the right to use the course for personal instruction and reference only. Purchasing a course for yourself (or for another) does not grant you, them, or anyone the right to distribute or share that work beyond the single individual that registers to take the course.

This means the course and course materials may not be shared with friends, relatives, co-workers, students, or anyone else as each sale is for an individual license to access, view, and take the lessons, quizzes, exercises, and download any course materials, documents, code, files, and software that are included with the course.

This per-person licensing helps ensure that the instructor who created the course (and exclusively holds the copyright for it,) can cover the expense outlaid to create the course, as well as cover the continuing costs of keeping the course available to new and existing customers, and additionally cover the expense of answering new questions that paying customers may have, all while providing the instructor (and copyright holder) with fair compensation for access to their copyrighted course and course materials that are licensed on a per-person basis.

Note that it is unlawful to share this copyrighted course and course material *even* if you do not charge for doing so, or do not make a profit doing so - this includes non-profit and governmental organizations - as the nature of this unique, copyrighted, proprietary educational work (for which the instructor holds the sole copyright,) is that it is designed as a chargeable training resource that is not made freely available to the public, and as such its only value is in its controlled distribution.

Therefore, any unauthorized sharing of the course or the course materials would greatly reduce the potential for additional sales and licensing, directly impacting the ability of the instructor and copyright holder to cover their costs to produce the course, as well as to continue to make it available to new and existing customers, and to support customers who lawfully purchased it.

I have a PanelView Plus 1000 and I wanted to know how to add a pop-up where the operator has to choose between 5 choices in order to be able to change the RPM speed!

    Thanks for the feedback Will!

Have you tried using an On-Top display with a Control List Selector, a couple of Arrows and Enter button?

That would be my first attempt.

Hope this helps, and thanks again for the suggestion,

    Shawn Tierney,
    Instructor at The Automation School
