I recently received a question asking if the courses here on The Automation School support Windows 10 and wanted to share the answer here in the presales forums:

Do The Automation School courses support Windows 10?

Yes, the courses themselves are compatible with Windows 10.

That said, I specifically test my online courses in the Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers, and my DVD courses work with standard DVD and Blu Ray players.

However, since Windows 10 does not come with DVD player software, you may want to test one of the free DVD player applications found on the internet with a DVD you already have to see if you can get it to work before buying a DVD course.

In case you're wondering about Rockwell's software products, here's where they stand:

First, as far as the free Rockwell's software products used in PLC Basics and CCW VFD Quick Start, they both work in Windows 10 as shown in the courses.

As far as PAC Basics (Studio 5000) and PVP Basics (View Studio,) Rockwell does have versions which support Windows 10, and you can get 30 day trial versions for free right from Rockwell.

That said, it should also be noted that there is no free ControlLogix (PAC Basics) emulators, so if you don't have the hardware you won't be able to download and test your programs.

    Hope this helps,
