Good afternoon Mehdi,
On each course homepage I have a list of required “Course Materials” needed to follow along with the course.
As you didn't specify the first course, I'll paste a few of the required materials below from my PLCs courses, as well as the requirements for the PVP Basics course:
PVP Basics Course Materials needed to follow along with the instructor as well as complete any optional Course Exercises:
• Windows 7, 8, or 10 PC with a compatible Ethernet or Serial port.
• View Studio Machine Edition (lesson about how to get a free demo version is included in the course) NOTE: Most lessons can be completed with demo software.
• An A-B PLC or PAC compatible with Student’s PC for use with RSLinx communication lessons
• An Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus 6, or PanelView Plus 7 for Configuration and Download lessonsPLC Basics:
As noted, those new to PLCs should take this course prior to any of our other Programmable Controller courses.PLC Basics Course Materials needed to follow along with the instructor as well as complete any optional Course Exercises:
• Windows 7, 8, or 10 PC
• An internet connection to download the free programming and emulation software (no hardware required)
Optionally, students who wish to program a physical PLC can choose one of the following:
– A MicroLogix 1000, a “USB to Mini-Din” programming cable, and a PC with a USB port
Or
– A MicroLogix 1100, a standard Ethernet cable, and a PC with an Ethernet PortNOTE: When using a physical PLC, students may also wish to purchase Push Buttons, Pilot Lights, and other I/O. All of the I/O devices used in this course are covered in the Appendix, however while this course covers how to find PLC wiring diagrams, it is not a basic electrical course and does not include lessons on wiring components.
PAC Basics Course Materials needed to follow along with the instructor as well as complete any optional Course Exercises:
• Windows 7, 8, or 10 PC with Ethernet or USB
• A CompactLogix or ControlLogix PAC with a communications port compatible with the student’s PC (Ethernet, USB, etc.)
• A version of RSLogix 5000 or Studio 5000 that is compatible with the student’s PC, and with the student’s CompactLogix or ControlLogix PAC
• Any I/O Devices the student wishes to connect to his PACNano Basics Course Materials needed to follow along with the instructor as well as complete any optional Course Exercises:
• Windows 7, 8, or 10 PC with an Ethernet and/or USB Port
• An internet connection to download the free programming software
• An Allen-Bradley Micro800 with USB or Ethernet communications ports
• Any I/O Devices the student wishes to connect to his Micro800If you have any other questions please let me know!
