I'd recommend using a USB Memory Stick / Flash Drive, or CF/SD Memory card to either transfer an MER to or from the PanelView Plus, or update the PanelVIew Plus's Firmware.

I say this because while it is possible to use a USB cable with all of the PanelView Plus models, finding and getting the drivers to work can be a challenge.
