Thanks for your question.

Typically with FTViewME and the PanelView Plus the only way to get new device support is by installing the latest patch roll-up and firmware.

But sometimes really old versions never get updated with new products, and in the case of ControlLogix and CompactLogix, you can often add a similar device to get it to work.

For instance, you should find an L35E can be used for a L36, and a L6 can be used in place of an L7.
