As discussed early in the course, RSLogix Micro Starter Lite only supports the MicroLogix 1000 and 1100. Which controller did you choose for your program?

Something else to try: Load your MicroLogix 1000 or 1100 file into the Emulator first using the Emulator's own menu. Then go online with RSLogix Micro Starter Lite and see if that works.

If that doesn't work, please share the versions of RSLogix, Linx, and Emulator 500 that you are using, as well as the controller you set your program for, and I'll take a look at it here.
