    Good morning Nghia,

    It sounds like your old PVP400 won't boot up.

    You could still try to use the transfer wizard to upload the file, but if the OS isn't booting then that likely won't work.

    You could also try using a USB drive with an autorun script with the old PVP400 powered on. I write about the USB autorun scripts here:

    With the PVP700-1500 you could also open the unit, remove the CompactFlash card, put it in your PC and search for the .MER file, but I don't think the PVP400 has internal removable memory.
